Raphaëlle Laborde was born in Toulouse on October 18, 1985. As far as she can remember, she has always drawn. After having difficulties understanding the principle of coloring (the marker inside the drawing and not around it…), her path seemed clear: she would be an illustrator! Following very long hours of boredom spent in high school, it was only natural that she decided to make drawing her profession. She entered the Émile-Cohl school in Lyon and graduated in 2008. Today she lives in Paris and illustrates children's books.
