Prune is spending her last summer of high school in Robion with her twin when Cyprien, their childhood friend who disappeared seven years ago, suddenly reappears. She reunites with the one she has never forgotten, now marked by a difficult past. Over the weeks, their bond rekindles and attraction resurfaces, even as everything remains fragile: Cyprien is still trying to rebuild himself, while Prune seeks independence from her sister. Can their love blossom despite these wounds and their need for freedom?

A summer romance driven by two deeply touching characters who must navigate between their feelings and their own futures.

Although romance lies at the heart of the story, other themes are also explored: intra-family violence, growing up, and the fear of the future and of maturing.

About the author: Originally from Provence, Caroline Peiffer now lives in the Paris region, where she teaches History and Geography. A lover of words since childhood, she enjoys writing as much as reading, specially creating stories to bring her characters to life while conveying values and emotions.
