Content : The conclusion to Laurana’s quest: will she finally find all the answers about the origins of her people?

A few years after the first volume, Laurana is living peacefully with Ferg, their two sons and the women of his family.

War breaks out between the Aman-Pô and the Rigtas-Val. To prevent further bloodshed, the Bantals impose a trade: Ferg in exchange for Péreg’s release. Laurana realises that her grandmother’s real aim is to separate her from her partner.

Refusing to make such a sacrifice, she resumes her quest to uncover the secrets of her people and the origins of the Law that divided the clans.
