About the author: Born in Paris in November 1975, Géraldine Collet grew up in Cachan (Paris surburbs). A teacher of literature and history in a vocational high school, she travelled around Seine-Saint-Denis before landing in Pantin, where she made her nest. Not long after, her children, Louise and Rachelle, poked out their little beaks — and writing came with them. Growing together, books on their laps; growing up, with stories in their heads. Her picture books have been published by P’tit Glénat, Les 400 coups, Frimousse, Philomèle, Bouts de papier, Bélize, Points de suspension, Millefeuille, Hélium, and by L’Élan vert!
About the illustrator: Éric Gasté was born in 1969 in Angers. After studying at the École Estienne, he became a graphic designer and copywriter at Bayard Presse. Today, he lives in Toulouse, where he works full-time as an illustrator. He has already published books with many publishers, including Bayard Jeunesse, Milan, Nathan, Épigones, Actes Sud Jeunesse, and Flammarion.
