Atlas, ward of the Royal Alchemist, has only one desire: to fly. Enlisted in the Hurricanes, the winged elite of his kingdom, he dreams of being the first to breach the Eye of the Cyclone, a centuries-old enchantment that has separated a legendary archipelago from the rest of the world.
Nymue, on the other hand, comes from the other side of the storm, from that mythical archipelago coveted since time immemorial. Tasked by her Council, she is sent to Auros to uncover and combat whatever threatens their protective Cyclone. But upon arrival, her mission proves far more dangerous than expected, leaving her with no choice but to ally with Atlas.
Forced into a quest for truth that exceeds them both, Atlas and Nymue gradually become entangled in a conspiracy capable of engulfing all of humanity.
