The Mermaid and the Unicorn

Content : The meeting of two wounded young women who are complete opposites. They have one summer to discover themselves and rebuild their lives.

The unicorn is Lili. She is 17 years old, with long rainbow-coloured hair and glittery ballet flats. She is passionate about special effects and make-up in cinema. She has been harassed online by her classmates. To forget, she leaves the Paris suburbs and goes on holiday to her aunt's house near the ocean. On the surface, everything seems fine and she is coping. The reality is less straightforward.

The mermaid is Cris. Short hair, worn-out trainers, old jeans that are too big. Passionate about sailing and swimming, she is more at ease on the ocean than in the middle of a crowd. On holiday at the family home, she is trying to heal from an injury. Fragile in appearance, she possesses real inner strength.
