About the author: Falling into books as Obelix once fell into the magic potion, Ariane Guézouli grew up immersed in the stories of Évelyne Brisou-Pellen, Philip Pullman, and many others. Since then, her love of reading has never left her. When she isn’t busy teaching history at secondary school, she enjoys dreaming up characters whose adventures are sometimes serious, sometimes delightfully whimsical.
