In the heart of winter, strange things are happening in the traditional city of Kyoto. Several customers have been poisoned at a famous sushi and sashimi restaurant, and Hana - a French-Japanese schoolgirl - is determined to find out more about the case.

Using her powers of clairvoyance, and with the help of her friend Ryo and her telepathic cat, Nekomo, she sets out to uncover a host of secrets surrounding the restaurant and its mysterious owner, Mr Satô.

This new standalone volume features the same heroes as in the first volume, which was very well received in bookshops. Blending Japanese tradition and modernity, the adventure takes the narrator into the fascinating worlds of Japanese cuisine and the country’s music industry and idols, while revealing new secrets about her family and her origins.
