About the authors:
Maiwenn Alix grew up between France, Sweden and Switzerland. After graduating from École Centrale de Lille in 2011, she left everything behind in 2017 to follow her English partner to Casablanca, Morocco, where she decided to devote herself entirely to writing. She is the author of numerous science-fiction novels, which have won the Utopiales Jeunesse Prize (2019 and 2023) and the ActuSF Alternative History Prize. When she is not writing, she enjoys sewing, surfing and playing the piano. She now lives in Switzerland with her husband, their two young sons, their dog and three cats.
