Cassandra and Laly are “the best cousins.” For a year, they have been preparing their great adventure, codenamed JUKE VOX, to celebrate the end of high school. A musical journey, just the two of them, carrying their voices and guitar from village to village across the French countryside.

But a traumatic event turns their plans upside down: Cassandra is raped during her final exams. Yet cancelling the trip is out of the question—they decide to go anyway.

Over the miles, through sunshine and storms, encounters and moments of connection, the two girls learn to carry this tragedy on their shoulders—alongside their backpacks.

Each of them will find their own way to cope.
