Baska and the Steppe Horse

Content : Baska lives with her family in a yurt set in the Mongolian steppes. One winter night, wolves attack the horse herd, and Baska discovers a severely injured foal. Against her father’s wishes, she decides to do everything she can to care for it. Over the following weeks, she manages to nurse the horse back to health and earns its trust. Together, they run across the steppes, striving to reach the horizon. One day, Baska decides to ride her foal all the way to her cousin Noga’s home, six hours away on horseback — a journey full of unexpected adventures…
