About the author: Born in the United States, Jennifer Dalrymple grew up near Paris, before living in Italy for ten years and eventually returning to France, where she now lives. Writing and ecology have always been her two great passions, and they have almost always come together in her books and stories. After several decades working across fairy tales, picture books and adventure stories, she is delighted to be able, this time, to tackle the subject of environmental activism head-on through this novel.
