After fleeing the watch of More, the young alchemist, seeking answers, wishes to follow the chimèron. But the chimèron has a very different plan in mind: to free himself from all obligations toward her.

Yet on the Shore, no one is ever truly alone… and it often becomes difficult to tell allies from enemies. Will they manage to evade the mists and chimeras to reach Orgaï, the Nomad City?

To succeed, Clervie and Noweramu must rely on each other, for their survival depends on the bond that unites them.
